Quality Truss Co. is a Truss manufacture located at 1409 SW Lake Road in Redmond. Owner, Mike Rooney purchased the business in 1995. Mike started as a farmer in a small California town and eventually started building spec homes. Since he enjoyed the construction industry it was fitting that when he and his family moved to the area, he purchased Quality Truss.
Now, a 12,000 square foot facility with 30 employees and achieving three times the business than when he bought it, you might say that Mike has been very successful in the truss trade. The majority of his business is by word of mouth and repeat customers. As their name implies, Mike takes pride in his commitment to Quality. Because of this, he purchases his lumber from only the best mills and is not afraid of making technological upgrades. His recent investment, one of the newest additions to truss technology, the Virtek Laser Projector, has made Quality Truss the most modern truss plant in Central Oregon, possibly in all of Oregon. This laser projection system displays a laser truss template allowing Mikes’ crew to layout and build all of their trusses to an exact detail and precise dimension. Mike said that this investment has sped up their production without sacrificing their already outstanding quality.
